Outside the Planning Boundary - Advice

Recommended Posts

Hello

I am after some advice about a plot of land we own that we want to put a mobile home on in order to live in. It’s currently not residential land and after speaking to the council today they have said not to even bother putting in planning as it will be rejected. Apparently we can’t convert the land into residential use because it is outside the boundaries they have set for the areas development. Is there any way around this at all?? Thank you

Not easy no, and the issue is that having spoken to the local authority they will be aware of your plans.

I'm afraid unless you have a reason for being there, you will not get permission.

Having a reason is the hard part and this is where you will fail.

Sorry this is not good news.
