Patricia Baston Posted November 8 Share Posted November 8 My property is within a conservation area and the rear boundary is a stone wall which is approx. 1.5m in height and which is adjacent to a highway and the natural ground level of my rear garden is significantly higher than this highway which runs along the rear boundary. To increase privacy levels I wan to erect a fence and I know that I can erect one under PD rights if it is less than 1m. My question is - Where do I measure the 1m from is it from the natural ground level of my garden or the highway?
