Hi  A question regarding mobile home on private land we have lived in a mobile home on private land be hind  my wifes mothers bungalow  for over 15 years . We hand planning  permission twice  for 5 years that has know past and we have lived in it fora further 10 years,we were giving it to care for my wife's mum she has now died .the bungalow might now be sold. what can we do now we own the part of land that the mobile home is on but if we apply for planning permission it want be granted.

If the caravan has been on the land for 10 years beyond any condition (i.e. Expiry of the planning) then it might be beyond enforcement by the local authority. 

However that doesn't guarantee planning unfortunately.

I would only apply if you need to. 

You will continue to build up evidence in the meantime.
